COOPER HOUSE

This non-standard house was designed for a modern married couple and their three children of different ages. The owners were drawn to modern European architecture, but at the same time wanted to have a rational and functional house that is designed for our climate. As a result, the idea was born to rethink the image of a traditional house with a gable roof and give the project a new sound.

Since the site was located in a picturesque place, we decided to visually fit our building into the existing natural landscape, to organically “dissolve” the structure in the natural environment, which in turn influenced our decision to use only natural and environmentally friendly materials in the decoration of the facades. Therefore, we opted for metal panels made of Corten steel and Ipe wood, which have proven themselves as durable and practical materials.
